Te Matatini
So, it's Saturday and I've been at home, glued to my computer for most of the day, getting my kapa haka fix. Coverage started at 2.30pm EST and finished after 10pm with the results. I managed to eat something in between - thank goodness for the lunch break in the broadcast. Must give MTS props for the coverage - technology made it possible for this Maori girl in Te Piiki Aporo to keep up with the kapa haka scene. Made me a little mokemoke for home though! I'm glad Te Whanau a Apanui was in the top 3 - they deserved to be there. Their sound was awesome, program simple and clear. Anyway, this is a long weekend here so tomorrow I'll be able to socialize with the outside world again. Have a good one everyone.

Thanks Maorigirl
So...after some reading of some blogs lately, I decided to write a blog so that everyone can keep up with what's happening with this Maori girl in the Aporo Nui. I get asked the same questions all the time so rather than keep repeating myself, I'll post stuff on here and hope that people will take an interest in what's going on up in here. Where possible, I'll try not to put names to protect the innocent (and the ultra naughty and hori - you know who you are).
Happy reading - see you all soon.
